Just a few days remain in the summer transfer window as teams prepare to make last-minute moves, including Crystal Palace.
Oliver Glasner has already overseen plenty of changes in recent weeks, which may have contributed to a tough start in the Premier League.
There will be hopes that the Crystal Palace boss can rediscover that form which helped the team end last season strong.
New recruits could be integral to that though, with plenty of links surrounding the backline in the past week.
Maxence Lacroix has been linked with a move to Crystal Palace, while Marc Guehi could be on his way to Newcastle.
There is another development in the case of another transfer target though, that being Chelsea star Trevoh Chalobah.

Crystal Palace set for Trevoh Chalobah transfer offer
Crystal Palace have been linked with a £25million transfer for Trevoh Chalobah this summer, though there hasn’t been much progress made on that front yet.
The 25-year-old is free to leave Stamford Bridge this summer after being deemed surplus to requirements in the squad.
That could allow for a potential bargain, given Chalobah’s consistency when performing at the very top level.
With teams yet to make their move, The Telegraph reports that Crystal Palace are eyeing a late offer for the defender.
While Lacroix is cited as a target as well, the report suggests that both players could make their way to Selhurst Park this summer.
That would add even more centre-back options to Glasner’s disposal.
Since the arrival of Enzo Maresca, the Chalobah has been training separately from the rest of the first-team squad, so there may be uncertainty over his match sharpness.
It remains to be seen whether a move will be secured, but Palace are lurking in wait for a potential deal.

Crystal Palace transfer dominoes
Plenty of Crystal Palace’s late business could be dependent on other scenarios in the squad, with one move potentially causing all of the dominoes to fall into place.
The situation surrounding Marc Guehi may trigger a move for Chalobah or Lacroix late in the window if an agreement is in place.
There may also be some reliance on an injury update surrounding Chadi Riad after the defender was brought off injured in the Carabao Cup second-round win over Norwich City.
It remains to be seen whether either situation may well force through a move.
