Crystal Palace continue to be active in the market, with recent reports claiming that the club are continuing to scout talent that could bolster the squad.
It comes after a difficult start to the Premier League season for the Eagles, who are without a win in their opening seven games.
Oliver Glasner hasn’t been helped by the late flurry of transfer business conducted by the club, which did seemingly strengthen the team but has taken them longer to adjust.
With that in mind, some of the recent reports around potential targets may well be with earlier deals in mind, as a young English star is on the radar of Crystal Palace.

Crystal Palace scout Borussia Dortmund ace Jamie Bynoe-Gittens
That player on their radar is Borussia Dortmund ace and England youth international Jamie Bynoe-Gittens.
According to a report from CaughtOffside, Crystal Palace have been scouting the 20-year-old winger in recent weeks.
They aren’t alone in that pursuit though, as Nottingham Forest, Arsenal and Tottenham are also claimed to be following his progress.
Any move won’t come cheap though, as the report claims “crazy money” would have to be paid for Borussia Dortmund to let him leave.
Gittens made his way through the Reading and Man City academy before he joined Dortmund in 2020 on a free transfer.
The right-footed winger, who can play on both flanks, has already racked up 68 appearances for the Bundesliga outfit, including appearances in the Champions League.

Jamie Bynoe-Gittens praised for Borussia Dortmund impact
Gittens has been growing in stature over the season, bagging twice in the Champions League on the first matchday against Club Brugge.
After the tie, Borussia Dortmund head coach Nuri Sahin told the official website: “Jamie wants to take the next step. We want him to take the next step…
“The fact that he is unbelievable in one-on-ones and has a very good finish is not new to me.
“If he has now acquired a taste for scoring goals, then he’ll be hard to stop. He’s very welcome to do that from the beginning.”
It remains to be seen whether that impact could be translated to the Premier League, but at just 20 years old, there is plenty of promise there.
Given how Crystal Palace have developed some of the best talent at Selhurst Park, such as Michael Olise, then perhaps they will have the edge in the race to land Gittens.
