Crystal Palace have a number of players attracting serious transfer interest from England and Europe, with 2026 looking like it could be a busy year at Selhurst Park.
It’s a credit to Crystal Palace’s recruitment that they have so many talented players attracting so much transfer interest, and from some top teams too.
But it’s also a worry for owner Steve Parish and manager Oliver Glasner who’ll want to keep the team together for as long as possible, but who will also recognise that Crystal Palace aren’t one of Europe’s elites.
The main players in question are Adam Wharton and Marc Guehi.
Wharton is a long-term transfer target for Real Madrid, with Bayern Munich and Man United also admirers. Meanwhile, Guehi missed out on a deadline day to Liverpool and is now nailed on to leave in 2026.
Now, reports claim that Barcelona are taking an interest in Daniel Munoz, along with Atletico Madrid, with the Colombian really impressing for the Eagles in the last 12 months.

Crystal Palace insider plays down Daniel Munoz to Barcelona links
Speaking to TeamTalk, transfer insider Dean Jones has given his verdict on the latest at Selhurst Park.
He predicts that none of Wharton, Guehi or Munoz leave the club in January, adding that Munoz’s links to Barcelona remain very fresh and suggesting that they can’t be taken seriously just yet.
Jones said: “I don’t expect any of them to leave in January. It would take a very bold offer to tempt any of the three away at that stage.
“It makes more sense for Guehi to wait it out until summer and make his free agent move than to be sold in the winter.
“Wharton is not going to leave halfway through the season, and I don’t think interest in Munoz is clear enough to take seriously at this point. But of course there is still time for that to change.
“Palace tend to communicate well with players that could leave the club and so if anything starts to open up I expect some very clear understanding to be outlined.”
Steve Parish’s transfer stance is clear at Crystal Palace
Parish and Crystal Palace are making a very good habit of sourcing young players for a relatively cheap fee, and selling them on for huge profits, as they have done with Michael Olise and Ebere Eze in recent seasons.
Wharton looks like he’ll become Palace’s record player sale and Munoz could also fetch a huge fee. Guehi though looks set to leave as a free agent which is of course a huge blow for the Eagles.
But Parish won’t sell his key Crystal Palace players easily. He knows that the club is in a good place right now and the future is looking bright. He also has the likes of Wharton and Munoz under long-term contracts with Wharton’s deal running to 2029 and Munoz’s to 2028.
Speaking recently, Parish said of Wharton: “I think he’s very committed to the club. If Manchester United want Adam Wharton, there’s nothing really surprising about that. The fact of the matter is he’s got a long contract to run.”
Expect the Eagles to want similar fees to Eze and Olise for Munoz, and then something perhaps closer to the £100million mark for Wharton depending on how he performs in the rest of 2025/26, and then in the World Cup next summer should he make the squad.
