Crystal Palace are tracking a move for a midfielder this summer, but face potential competition for his signature, according to reports.
The Eagles are preparing for a first full campaign under Oliver Glasner, who impressed at the end of the previous Premier League season.
The Crystal Palace boss is set for plenty of changes to his squad though, with some key stars linked with potential exits.
Michael Olise has already made the move to Bayern Munich, while Eberechi Eze and Marc Guehi are rumoured with interest.
With that in mind, Dougie Freedman has been tasked with finding the next players who will be able to star at Selhurst Park.
Daichi Kamada, Chadi Riad and Ismaila Sarr have all joined Crystal Palace, but plenty of other targets are available too.

Crystal Palace tracking Matt O’Riley
One of those possible signings this summer is Celtic star Matt O’Riley, who has been impressive since making his move to Scotland.
According to The Sun, Crystal Palace are tracking a move for the Danish international midfielder, creating a chance to join the race to sign him.
The report claims that Chelsea are showing interest in O’Riley, along with fellow Premier League clubs Southampton and Brighton.
It remains to be seen whether Palace will make the leap to signing the 23-year-old, who has three years remaining on his deal at Celtic Park.
A move to the top tier in England could suit O’Riley, who came in for plenty of praise from his manager Brendan Rodgers in May, as he told Celtic TV: “He has been absolutely phenomenal really in his consistency.
“I think if we lacked anything as a team, it was probably that…”
“So to look at his numbers now, it’s a huge testament to himself because the work he puts in, the focus he puts in every single day at training to improve and be better, that’s clearly been rewarded by his team-mates and everyone else. It’s very well deserved.
“He is very humble, there is nothing flash about him. His peers recognise the work he puts in and the mentality that he has.
“They know when they sit beside him in the changing room, this is a guy that puts in absolutely everything for the team and that is obviously very much respected.”
Should Crystal Palace sign Matt O’Riley?
There are some questions over whether it would make sense for Crystal Palace to sign a player like O’Riley this summer.
While he is undoubtedly a quality option, any switch should only come if there is a transfer away from the squad.
Midfield options at Palace consist of Cheick Doucoure, Adam Wharton, Jefferson Lerma, Will Hughes, Naouirou Ahamada in the deeper role and Eberechi Eze, Matheus Franca and Kamada in the attacking positions.
It means that there is little space for a new signing in that position unless a move-out is made in the coming weeks.
