Crystal Palace seem to have their third signing of the summer already in place, as he features in a friendly for the Eagles against Bournemouth.
After making two quick moves to open up the transfer window, Crystal Palace have had a quiet few weeks as the Eagles return to pre-season.
Chadi Riad and Daichi Kamada are both already confirmed to have joined the club and are settling in well alongside their new teammates.
Dougie Freedman is likely busy at the moment, searching for the perfect replacement for Michael Olise after he departed for Bayern Munich.
Now, the third arrival of the summer appears to be inevitable as he takes part in a pre-season friendly for Oliver Glasner’s team.
Ryan Sessegnon now features in friendly for Crystal Palace
We’ve known that Ryan Sessegnon was training with Palace in a bid to earn himself a contract for the 2024/25 season, and it seems we’ve now taken a step forward.
Last Saturday, Palace played a friendly behind closed doors at Bournemouth’s training ground and now it’s been revealed that Sessegnon played in the game.
This was first revealed by a fan account on X who shared a selfie with Sessegnon who was donning the new yellow Palace away kit.
To support this as being factual, South London Press’ journalist Edmund Brack took to X with a post confirming Sessegnon featured in the game as he continues to try and earn a contract.
We have previously reported that Glasner has been impressed by Sessegnon in training, and featuring in a friendly is a fairly strong indication that he’ll be signing with the Eagles in a move which looks inevitable.

Ryan Sessegnon looks likely to be Palace’s third summer signing
Following in the footsteps of Kamada and Riad, now Sessegnon could be the next player to join Glasner’s revolution at Selhurst Park.
He’ll come into the squad and immediately provide both competition and something different to Tyrick Mitchell at left wing-back.
For free, Sessegnon is an excellent move and picking him up for free, it’ll allow more to be spent on other positions such as a replacement for Olise which is necessary sooner rather than later.

Meanwhile, a second centre-back and depth at right wing-back are also desired, so this move – if completed – could be the third but it’s unlikely to be the last.
