Crystal Palace star Michael Olise has been tipped as a top target for Manchester City this summer, but now they want someone else.
This summer, there are a couple of players that Crystal Palace will be expecting interest to arrive for, but Michael Olise is the main one.
The incredible Frenchman has been immense this season despite his frequent injury woes.
This has left both Manchester sides and Chelsea as well interested in the talented forward who dons the number seven shirt for Palace.
Now, the main suitors who are Man City, have potentially chosen a different top target which is a boost for Palace.

Who do Manchester City want to sign over Michael Olise?
According to a report from the Independent, City is actually targeting players who can fluidly play across a few areas in the final third.
While Olise fits this bill, the report mentions that there might be players higher on the list than he is.
Namely, this is Bayern Munich star Jamal Musiala who’s shone brightly for the Bundesliga side, but City plan to steal him.
City reported view Musiala among the next best players in the world and it’d be quite a coup to steal him from Bayern.
This could be a real boost for Palace’s chances of keeping a hold of Olise with City looking as the most probable of destinations.
Regardless of who Olise went to, would be the Palace’s most expensive ever sale.

Could Michael Olise end up staying at Crystal Palace?
For most of this season, it’s been expected that Olise would be on his way out this summer with so much interest.
But if City look elsewhere, Olise may yet be part of Oliver Glasner‘s side next season.
This is because the other options may be unsuitable for various reasons.
Man United aren’t exactly desperate for a right-sided forward anymore, with a couple of positions taking priority.
Meanwhile, Chelsea were rejected by Olise last summer and isn’t too attractive a destination anymore.
So we wouldn’t write off Palace keeping Olise just yet.
