Oliver Glasner managed to take the Eagles to new heights at the end of the previous season, with an impressive run of form that took them up to tenth in the Premier League.
It has instilled hope in many fans that the Crystal Palace boss can deliver more than the usual cycle of survival from relegation.
The manager will need some reinforcements in his squad if Palace are to compete at the top end of the table.
Selhurst Park could welcome a whole host of new faces that will suit Glasner’s style for the coming campaign.

Two new Crystal Palace signings
Crystal Palace may be about to turn a dream start to their summer transfer window into a reality if they seal two quickfire signings.
Reports have stated that Crystal Palace are set to sign Real Betis defender Chadi Riad as their first summer addition.
The youngster has impressed in La Liga and will fit into Glasner’s approach of playing three centre-backs.
Crystal Palace are also nearing the signing of Daichi Kamada as a free agent from Lazio, with the playmaker readying a move.
Kamada will reunite with Glasner, with the duo already working together during their time at Eintracht Frankfurt.
Michael Olise, Ebere Eze and Marc Guehi transfer decision
Another boost for Crystal Palace this summer would be keeping their key stars for yet another season and avoiding any potential sales.
Michael Olise has been heavily touted as a transfer target for the likes of Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal, Manchester City and more, following yet more impressive performances for the Eagles.
Marc Guehi has been rumoured with interest from Manchester United, with just two years remaining on his contract at Selhurst Park.
Ebere Eze is also on the radar of top clubs with transfer links to Tottenham in recent weeks.
If all three were to stay, then Glasner may have an even better chance of pushing the club towards the top end of the table.

Transfer exits
While it would be ideal to keep hold of most of the squad, it would be unsustainable to bring in some players without letting others leave.
If Palace can generate fees for the likes of Odsonne Edouard, Jordan Ayew and Jeffrey Schlupp then the squad may find an ideal balance.
Maxence Lacroix deal
Crystal Palace could strengthen their backline depth and quality even more by landing a deal for Maxence Lacroix.

The centre-back has just one year remaining on his deal and could be the ideal successor to Guehi, should he run his own contract down.

Crystal Palace have a proven track record when it comes to picking up prospects from the Championship and turning them into Premier League stars.
The Eagles could do that once again by pursuing Leeds United winger Crysencio Summerville.
It should come as little shock that the current Palace forwards are on the radar of some big clubs.
In Summerville, Glasner would have a succession plan, with an option that has torn up the Championship and seems ready for the step up.
At 22 years old, the Netherlands youth international still has plenty of his best years ahead of him and could quickly ease himself into the team over time.
Gabriel Sara signing
Yet another ideal addition from the second tier would be Norwich City midfielder Gabriel Sara.
Crystal Palace have been linked with a transfer for Sara, following an impressive campaign for the Canaries.
With 13 goals and 12 assists, the Brazilian has shown his ability to both take and create chances from the centre of the pitch.
Sara is just 24 years old and still has plenty more room for development at the top level.
