Crystal Palace kicked off their Conference League campaign with a win away against Dynamo Kyiv on Thursday evening.
Crystal Palace got underway in the Conference League on Thursday with a game in Poland against Ukrainian giants Dynamo Kyiv.
It’s the Eagles’ first outing in a European competition since the Intertoto Cup in 1998 and they had the lead at half-time thanks to a Daniel Munoz header.
Eddie Nketiah added a second after the break, and despite Borna Sosa’s red card, Palace held on for the win.

Crystal Palace plotting new deal for Adam Wharton amid Real Madrid links
Wharton is really establishing himself with Crystal Palace and strong performances in European competitions will only strengthen his links to the likes of Real Madrid and Bayern Munich.
Real Madrid have been linked with Wharton for about a year now, but Palace aren’t going to let their star midfielder go without a fight.
Recent reports revealed how Crystal Palace could extend Wharton’s current contract beyond 2029, but it would likely come with a release clause worth beyond the £75million mark, per reports.
After performances like his one on Thursday, Crystal Palace fans will surely say he’s worth well beyond that amount.
