Predicted Crystal Palace line-up to face Man United in Premier League clash

Crystal Palace take on Manchester United this weekend at Selhurst Park and Oliver Glasner will be desperate to win.

Four games into the Premier League campaign and Crystal Palace are without a win – a concerning stat which leaves the current form of the club only fit for relegation.

Oliver Glasner has thus far been unable to repeat the form that he inspired his Eagles to late last season, with last week’s 2-2 draw with Leicester City being the most disappointing result yet.

Now the Eagles face the toughest challenge of the season so far against an in-form Manchester United side who are coming off a 7-0 victory.

Ahead of the Premier League clash, here is how we have predicted United to line-up against United.

How Crystal Palace could line-up against Manchester United

For Crystal Palace, a win needs to be found somewhere to avoid a slow start turning into a proper relegation scrap. The next three games are key, with Everton away next weekend representing an excellent chance before Liverpool come to Selhurst Park.

Glasner has already ruled out three players against United with injury, including Cheick Doucoure. With that in mind, here is our predicted line-up for the match.

Dean Henderson

Starting for the Eagles in goal will be Dean Henderson, the bonafide No.1 who will be looking for a first clean sheet in the league this season.

Chris Richards

Moving into the defence, Chris Richards seems likely to step back into the starting line-up on the right side of the back three.

Marc Guehi

In the centre of the back three is Marc Guehi who will start with the captain’s armband once again.

Maxence Lacroix

The final central defender is Maxence Lacroix who has been excellent on the left since joining – replacing Joachim Andersen’s passing perfectly.

Daniel Munoz

At right wing-back, Daniel Munoz should continue after the Eagles failed to bring in any alternatives in the summer, but he probably remains among the first names on the team sheet.

Tyrick Mitchell

On the left side, Tyrick Mitchell is in a similar position to Munoz, starts as he is brilliant but unfortunately, he cannot be rested even if needed.

Adam Wharton

Glasner confirmed that Adam Wharton is fit and available for this game which is music to our ears as the midfielder after his early season struggles with fitness.

Will Hughes

With Doucoure out, Will Hughes probably steps back into the starting line-up alongside Wharton – the ever-trusty Englishman continues to have a key role for the Eagles.

Eberechi Eze

Crystal Palace’s star man Eberechi Eze will start here against United as he looks to continue his impressive form of three-goal contributions in three games.

Ismaila Sarr

On the right, we would like to see Ismaila Sarr starting as he is yet to get a proper chance to start for the Eagles.

Eddie Nketiah

Finally, upfront, we are predicting Eddie Nketiah to start, the No.9 scored his first goal during the week and should be named ahead of Jean-Philippe Mateta.
