Following a disappointing Saturday evening against Wolves, one Crystal Palace player has been subjected to praise.
Saturday night saw a two-game winning streak slashed by Wolves with Crystal Palace dropping a 1-0 lead to then come from 2-1 behind.
The game saw Eddie Nketiah pick up a lot of criticism due to his poor showing, but several players were simply not good enough in a game seen as a six-pointer by both sides.
VAR played a hand in the result, with Oliver Glasner adamant that Craig Dawson deserved a red card, while the Eagles would have hoped the late winner had stood as it was far from clear and obvious.
The Eagles therefore remain in 17th place, although are two points above Ipswich Town and the relegation spots.

Amid the disappointing result, there was one player worthy of some praise.
Dean Henderson named in team of the week
Despite conceding two goals, on a night of little quality, arguably Dean Henderson showed the greatest single moment with an excellent save.

This save won Crystal Palace a point and has also earned him a spot in Gabriel Agbonlahor’s team of the week.
Speaking on talkSPORT, Agbonlahor named Henderson as his goalkeeper of the week, before explaining his reasoning.
“I thought he was outstanding. Some of the saves he made for Sarabia from Wolves were outstanding.
“He has not been at his best this season, Henderson, but this was one of his better performances, so I think he definitely deserves even though he conceded two to be in the Team of the Week.”
Henderson only made seven saves in the game, although two were close range and he deserves a lot of praise for that with the aforementioned Sarabia save being the pick of the bunch.

Oliver Glasner’s summer goalkeeping decision for Crystal Palace justified
In the summer, Glasner took the bold decision to hand Henderson the No.1 jersey for Crystal Palace.
This decision ultimately ended up with Sam Johnstone being sold to Wolves and Matt Turner arriving on loan from Nottingham Forest.
It was a brave decision initially because Johnstone had given so many years of great football to the Eagles and even last season was the firmly established number one.
However, now with Henderson often being a standout performer for Crystal Palace, the decision looks to be justified.
Going forward, it will be interesting to see how the goalkeeping department shapes up with Joe Whitworth likely to play a role upon his return from loan at Exeter.
