Crystal Palace hammered West Ham 5-2 on Sunday and afterwards, Eberechi Eze has posted to Instagram with some interesting responses.
Sunday saw Oliver Glasner‘s side absolutely destroy West Ham, with four goals before half-time.
It was the perfect result for Crystal Palace to follow up on what was an equally impressive outing at Anfield the previous week.
Confidence is now sky-high and Palace look likely to continue this form against Newcastle on Wednesday night.
In the game, Eberechi Eze was a star, scoring and assisting while doing enough to be named in Alan Shearer’s team of the week.
After the game, he posted on social media, and it had some interesting interactions. Let’s see what happened.
Yannick Bolasie comments on Eze’s post
Taking to Instagram after the big win, Eze posted a video compilation of his performance in the game with the caption, “Are you flying?”
Underneath this, he had several responses, including Yannick Bolasie who wrote, “Flying gliding everything”, with two flame emojis.
Joachim Andersen also responded, writing, “Easy to be Eze”.
Palace goalkeeper Joe Whitworth also commented with a flame emoji which sums up Eze’s form perfectly, as he’s on fire.
However interestingly, among the likes was West Ham midfielder Kalvin Phillips. This a pretty bold move considering the compilation showed his current side getting destroyed by Eze and Palace.
Phillips was linked with a move to Selhurst Park in the summer and this will only lead to further rumours about that deal being revisited in the summer.
We can’t imagine this went down too well at the London Stadium.
For Eze, this is just the latest brilliant outing though, as he’s been immense under Glasner.

Eze was so good on Sunday that even the opposition clearly couldn’t help but praise his performance.
West Ham isn’t the easiest opponent in the world, so to put in a performance like that is breathtaking from Eze and shows why he’s as big a player if not more so than Michael Olise.

He had a profound impact on the game, and for Glasner, his biggest desire this summer will be to keep one or both of Eze and Olise and they are irreplaceable.
