Oliver Glasner has now been handed a massive boost regarding his Crystal Palace squad but remains keen to avoid Roy Hodgson’s mistake.
Crystal Palace have struggled this season with injuries, mainly to the club’s key players which has been a massive blow.
Often, the blame for this pointed at Roy Hodgson‘s desire to rush players back from injury which led to reaggravation of the injuries.
With Eberechi Eze likely to be returning to the starting line-up for Palace against Spurs on Saturday though, it is hoped that this issue is over.
Now, Oliver Glasner has shared an update on the man everyone is wondering about, Michael Olise.

Oliver Glasner provides huge update on Michael Olise
Speaking ahead of his side’s trip to Tottenham Hotspurs, Glasner provided an update on Palace’s star man, Olise.
From this press conference, The Atheltic reported that Glasner gave a massive update on Olise.
“He especially wants to train football, it’s tough for him to train in the gym and run when he cannot play football,” Glasner explained.
“But we’re expecting him back — it’s maybe not certain as we don’t know exactly — but at the end of March, (or in) April I hope, if everything goes well and our medical department does a great job. He’s also very ambitious to train with us.”

After this, Glasner revealed his hopes over Olise’s return and signposted the international break as the time for his possible return.
“After the national team break he can be with us in training but he’s had injuries so we have to take care of him,” he added.
“We want to avoid any injury and when you have this past with three injuries, starting in the summer with France Under-21s, it’s important to take care of all our players.”
Crystal Palace could be set for a blockbuster end to the season
Upon his arrival, Glasner highlighted that he wanted to score lots of goals and play attacking football, so with the top-tier attackers now starting to return, this could combine for an explosive season finale.
Glasner has already hinted that he won’t be rushing Olise back, instead giving him weeks on the training pitch to build up his fitness so he hopefully isn’t handed another setback.
But when Olise does return, Palace will hopefully be clear of relegation worries and just playing exciting attacking football which he will only add to.
