Crystal Palace fans were in full voice for their Conference League win over Dynamo Kyiv on Thursday, even drawing praise from the Dynamo players.
Crystal Palace beat Dynamo Kyiv 2-0 in the Conference League on Thursday, getting their historic European campaign off to a great start.
Daniel Munoz and Eddie Nketiah were among the scorers as Borna Sosa saw red in the second half.
But Oliver Glasner’s side put in a very commanding, dominant display away in Poland as the Eagles extend their unbeaten run to a club record 19 games in all competitions.
And they did so in front of a horde of Crystal Palace fans who packed out the away end in Lublin. It is believed around 2,600 Palace fans made the journey.

Dynamo Kyiv player hails Crystal Palace fans after Conference League clash
Palace fans could be heard throughout the game, and even Dynamo Kyiv defender Oleksandr Karavaev had to give a word of praise to those Eagles fans who travelled to Poland.
Speaking after the game, Karavaev spoke of the Crystal Palace fans constantly singing throughout the match. He told dynamo.kiev.ua: “When you feel such support, even from the opposing team, a team from the EPL, which came to support with 2,500 to 3,000 thousand fans who sang throughout the match.
“In general, when you watch this championship on television and hear how fans in any city at any stadium sing songs in the same way, supporting their teams throughout the match, you understand the football atmosphere there.
“Today we felt a bit of that. It changes how you play. You become more focused, maybe a bit risky. You draw inspiration from this football atmosphere. Perhaps this played its role, as our fans also came to support us. When you feel this atmosphere, you play differently.”
What the stadium announcer said to Crystal Palace fans during Dynamo Kyiv game
The Crystal Palace fans were certainly in full voice on Thursday. They even had a few chants aimed towards UEFA following the whole debacle around them entering into the Conference League this season.
Already this season, Crystal Palace have been fined over UEFA chants from fans and those same chants could be heard in the game against Dynamo Kyiv as well.
In fact, the stadium announcer warned Crystal Palace fans about chanting against UEFA, but in turn, the Palace fans just turned up the volume.
For this season’s Conference League campaign, expect the Crystal Palace fans to follow their team in their droves throughout Europe, with exciting games away France and Ireland still to come.
Crystal Palace return to Premier League action against Everton on Sunday.
