Timothy Chandler at Eintracht Frankfurt has spoken about how current Crystal Palace manager Oliver Glasner would lose his cool behind the scenes.
Oliver Glasner comes across as being a very calm and mannered coach for Crystal Palace. But it turns out that the Austrian used to have a bit of a temper.
That’s according to one of his former players who has revealed all about Glasner’s outbursts and how he would regret losing his temper soon after.

Oliver Glasner’s unusual temper at Eintracht Frankfurt
Speaking to BILD, current Frankfurt player Timothy Chandler who played under Glasner during his time at the German club has revealed how Glasner was someone ‘who just had to let it all out’.
Chandler said in a very honest interview: “In my opinion, he made great progress here as a coach and as a person. Oli reached a point where you could talk openly with him. He did shout sometimes later in the team meeting, too. But when someone went up to him, usually our captain Seppl Rode, and said: ‘Oli, maybe that wasn’t so good…’ he nodded: ‘Yes, yes, you’re right…’
“Oli is someone who just had to let it all out. Sometimes even in a way that wasn’t okay. But then it was good again. He became more relaxed about some things over time. That’s also why the team followed him, why we were able to march through Europe together.”

The latest on Oliver Glasner’s Crystal Palace future
It’s no secret that the Palace boss is in demand with the likes of Man United and Bayern Munich linked with Glasner in recent weeks, though Glasner laughed off suggestions that he’s eyeing the Bayern job.
His contract at Selhurst Park expires at the end of the season and the latest on his future is that owner Steve Parish is trying to get Glasner on a new deal, though there appears to be no rush from either party.
The Crystal Palace boss has come a long way; not only during his 18 months in South London but in his entire career, with comments about his stint in Germany very telling about his journey.
