Crystal Palace are the UEFA Conference League 2026 winners, and the reward goes beyond just a third trophy in a year for the cabinet.

The Eagles went to Leipzig and took home the club’s first-ever European trophy, leading to jubilation amongst the fans over there, at Selhurst Park and watching from home.

But with the trophy bagged, what can Crystal Palace expect to have earned financially from the success in Europe this season?

GRV Media’s finance expert, Adam Williams, has now revealed all.

Crystal Palace’s UEFA Conference League winnings

A third trophy in 12 months sees Palace earn the maximum amount possible from the Conference League this season.

Now, Adam Williams has explained that over the course of the Conference League campaign, and now winning the final, Palace will pocket roughly £17.5m in total.

“The linear prize money benefits of winning the Conference League for Crystal Palace are pretty straightforward. They have earned around £17.5m after winning the competition.

“There is a little bit of projection there because we’re working on the data from 2024-25, which might have changed somewhat because of increases in TV money and so on. But the final figure won’t be too far off £17.5m.

“Financially, the bigger carrot is the possibility of playing in the Europa League, which they’d get for winning the Conference.

“In the Europa League, you’d be on just shy of £10m before a ball was even kicked. And then your prize money scales up from there. Have a good outing and get to the knockouts and, for English teams, you’re talking close to £15m from the league phase alone.

“On top of that, you have four extra matchdays at Selhurst Park, plus bonuses from sponsors and so on. You also improve your coefficient, which means you get more money the next time you’re in Europe, so it’s a virtuous cycle.

“So a low-end estimate on how much Palace might get from their Conference League campaign and subsequent passage to the Europa League is £27.5m. And with a decent run in the Europa League next season, that starts to rise quickly.

“Not all of that is profit, mind. You’ll have to pay out bonuses to players, appearance fees, and so on. Plus, there are pretty significant costs associated with staging games at Selhurst Park. But from an SCR perspective, that £27.5m is the figure that goes into your calculation. It’s an opportunity for Palace to really push on, therefore.”

This will be added to Palace’s £136.1m for their Premier League finish.

Crystal Palace set for Europa League football

This campaign was one of firsts’ for Palace.

A first Community Shield, a first attempted defence of a major honour in the FA Cup and also a first European adventure.

Next season will be similar as Palace embark on a Europa League campaign, which is an even more lucrative competition to go far in.

Of course, this will unfortunately all be without Oliver Glasner at the helm, as this was his final game in charge of The Eagles.

Whoever, potentially Iraola Andoni, is in charge come August will face a massive task to replace the greatest manager in the history of this football club.
