Yeremy Pino may not feature again for Spain at the 2026 World Cup after the Crystal Palace No.10 damaged his shoulder in a 1-0 win over Uruguay.
The former Villarreal man has suffered an acromioclavicular sprain and is now training alone, with the 23-year-old potentially out of action for six weeks due to the injury.
Fortunately, it seems like Pino is in a positive environment, as Lamine Yamal and many other members of the Spain squad have rallied around him since the incident occurred.
Crystal Palace’s fixtures are out for the 2026/27 season! Which game are you most excited for? 🤔
Lamine Yamal sends his love to Yeremy Pino after shoulder injury
The Barcelona No.10 seems very fond of the UEFA Conference League winner. After Pino hurt his shoulder, Yamal wrote on Instagram: “I love you lil bro.”
Daniel Munoz also replied, calling Pino his “brother” while Dean Henderson and Jorgen Strand Larsen sent heart emojis to the Spaniard.
More of the Spain squad commented, with Ferran Torres and Dani Olmo also sending their best wishes to the attacking midfielder, along with Mikel Oyarzabal, Pedro Porro and David Raya.
Christantus Uche – who has now returned to Getafe after his loan spell at Crystal Palace came to an end – replied too, writing: “Stay strong lil man 🙏🏾.”

Pino – who initially feared he had broken his collarbone – must have been devastated to hear that he may not feature again for Spain at the World Cup, but he is quite clearly a respected member of the squad.
The man born in Las Palmas notably played on after damaging his shoulder and helped Spain see out that 1-0 win over Uruguay, which shows the type of character he is.
That warrior-like mentality surely plays a part in Pino being so highly thought of within the Spain camp, and it will undoubtedly make an impression on Pierre Sage too.
Hopefully, the Crystal Palace star won’t miss much of pre-season under the Frenchman, and can hit the ground running in a new era under the Ligue 1 Coach of the Year.
