The Premier League is back this weekend, and Crystal Palace could receive a massive injury boost in the form of a return.
Oliver Glasner will be hoping that he and his Eagles side can pile further misery onto Nottingham Forest who were handed a four-point deduction last week.
However, for Crystal Palace, it’s been an eternity since they’ve been in action, with the 1-1 draw at Luton being three weeks ago.
This has given Glasner time on the training ground with his team but also has allowed the team to recover after an injury-filled period.
Sam Johnstone however, has joined the injury list after picking up a blow while with England, however, Palace could be about to get a return which will be huge for the club’s midtable push to end the season.

Michael Olise eyeing Palace return this weekend
This coming weekend will be a huge game for Glasner, and he will be hoping that his efforts could be supplemented by the return of Michael Olise.
According to London World, the 22-year-old is ‘trying to be ready’ for the game against Forest on Saturday afternoon.
This return would be a massive boost for Glasner and the Palace attack, as he’d join Eberechi Eze with both being fit once more – something which has been deadly this season.

Olise has been absent through a hamstring injury since February’s 4-1 loss to Brighton which happened to be the result which sacked Roy Hodgson.
Olise will want a red-hot end to the season
Returning with 10 games remaining, Olise will hope to put Palace 11 points clear of relegation with a win on Saturday, but will be keen to add to his goals and assists for personal reasons.
Despite being incredible in 2023/24, Olise just hasn’t played enough and this could go against him this summer with clubs possibly reluctant to spend £70m on him due to injury concerns.
Along with this, he’ll want to show Didier Deschamps that he can’t ignore him when naming his Euros squad for this summer.
So continuing the way he has all season, while not picking up another injury will be of the utmost importance for Olise over the next eight weeks or so.
