For many fans, the sight of seeing Michael Olise playing in anything but a Crystal Palace shirt will be a strange new feeling.
The 22-year-old grew in his three years at Selhurst Park, morphing from a promising prospect into an undeniable talisman.
Michael Olise made 90 appearances for Crystal Palace, scoring 16 goals and assisting 25 to his teammates, with a quality that was clear to those watching.
With an inevitable strike when he’d cut in from the right flank with his left foot, there were times when the France youth international was reminiscent of some footballing greats.
As his whole career still lies ahead, there is sadness in the fact that his peak years won’t be spent at Crystal Palace.
Instead, Olise left to join Bayern Munich in the summer, as the pull of the Bundesliga and the biggest trophies in the world proved too much to resist.
There is excitement over how impressive the 22-year-old is now and even more expectations over what he can provide in the future.

Thierry Henry discusses Michael Olise potential
Olise is currently away with the French Olympic football team for the summer before he officially joins up with his new Bayern Munich teammates.
The winger has helped Les Bleus reach the gold medal match, joined by former Palace striker partner Jean-Philippe Mateta.
As part of the team, Olise has been managed by ex-Arsenal and Barcelona icon Thierry Henry – who knows a thing or two about good forwards.
Discussing Olise in his press conference, Henry told the media: “You ain’t seen nothing yet.”
It’s a clear signal of just how good he can be in the future, though that won’t be much comfort to Crystal Palace fans.

Crystal Palace life after Michael Olise
With Olise parting ways with Crystal Palace, both must now journey on separate paths and aim to progress.
For the winger, there’s a chance to create a legacy and become one of the greatest players on the planet.
Meanwhile, at Palace, there is an opportunity to grow even stronger under Oliver Glasner and contend at the top of the table.
The Crystal Palace manager has already proven his teams are capable units without star player power.
With the addition of Ismaila Sarr as a replacement for Olise, there is a clear path towards improving the whole squad for the future.
