Crystal Palace fans are currently missing the dynamic duo of Eberechi Eze and Michael Olise.
The pair combined for three goals in 13 appearances together last season – helping Crystal Palace win eight and draw two of those outings to eventually finish tenth in the Premier League.
Oliver Glasner has since lost Olise in a £50.8m move to Bayern Munich – with Crystal Palace sorely missing the balance the France international provided when cutting inside from that right flank onto his stronger left foot.
It will be tough – and expensive – to sign replacements for Eberechi Eze, who has a £68m release clause, and Michael Olise, although Crystal Palace may not need to spend anything to replicate their impact.
Asher Agbinone and Jesurun Rak-Sakyi could be Eberechi Eze and Michael Olise 2.0
Dougie Freedman – Director of Football at Selhurst Park – might be spared a tricky recruitment task thanks to the talent of Asher Agbinone and Jesurun Rak-Sakyi.
The latter is better known amongst Crystal Palace fans and football supporters in general, having already ripped up League One while on loan at Charlton in the 2022/23 campaign, scoring 15 goals while also providing ten assists in 50 appearances.
As you can see below, Rak-Sakyi is an identical profile to Olise in the way he cuts inside from the right on his stronger left foot, while he seems equally as confident when it comes to finishing.
In regards to the lesser known Agbinone, the 19-year-old is very similar to Eze when cutting inside from the left on his stronger right foot, even striking the ball in the same fashion as seen during a friendly against Wolves back in August, where he managed to score with little backlift.
The teenager also dribbles well like the England international – in fact, the Crystal Palace No.64’s muscular physique and leggy running style evokes similarities to Wilfried Zaha, even.

Interestingly, the pair are closer to the first-team than some might think.
Agbinone has already been mentioned in press conferences by Glasner, and has also been named on the bench in the Premier League in three of our seven games so far.
Furthermore, Crystal Palace hold an option to recall Rak-Sakyi from his loan spell at Sheffield United, where he just scored twice to secure a 2-0 win over Luton Town on Saturday.
Therefore, we could even see the homegrown duo playing together for Crystal Palace before the 2024/25 campaign is over.
