Crystal Palace could be about to secure their second huge signing of the transfer window as a major hint is dropped.
On Tuesday morning, Crystal Palace announced the arrival of Daniel Munoz to the club. His arrival was a massive boost for the club with the right back slot an area which desperately needed an addition.
This was the first right-back signed since 2013 which is over 10 years and four months ago.
But despite mere hours having passed since this announcement, Palace aren’t wasting any time with a second arrival potentially also imminent.
Adam Wharton, Blackburn’s blossoming midfielder, has long been a talent who is tipped for the Premier League and now he’s said to be travelling to London to complete his Palace move.

With reports flying around that the 19-year-old ace, his agent has done little to disperse the thought that he’s travelling to London.
Taking to X on Tuesday afternoon, Whatrton’s agent James Featherstone (Omni Sports) posted what many are perceiving to be a huge hint about his client’s future.
The post entailed a photograph of a train which had the destination of London Euston which could suggest he was heading to finalise the transfer of Wharton.
If this is the case, Wharton will likely be arriving well in advance of Thursday’s deadline, now Palace’s window and current feeling on recruitment have taken a 180 turn since this time last week.
Now the questions will turn toward what Wharton can bring to this Palace side that it’s currently lacking, to justify the massive £22m fee which is reported.
Wharton could be direct replacement for Cheick Doucoure
Managing to grab Wharton is a huge coup for Palace, with his signature wanted by multiple Premier League sides – something which would only have increased.
His arrival also will strengthen the midfield department which would limit the damage that selling Cheick Doucoure does should Liverpool return their interest this coming summer.
With Wharton, Palace could either possibly have the number six position sorted for the next decade or make a massive profit on him should he reach his potential.
