Crystal Palace continue to have their squad eyed up by clubs across the globe, following some impressive talent identification from Dougie Freedman and the recruitment team.

The Eagles have built up a team full of capable players, with attacking flair at one end of the pitch and defensive stability at the other.

Oliver Glasner gave a glimpse of the true possibilities his squad could have under his guidance, with the Crystal Palace boss picking up seven wins and three draws in 13 Premier League matches.

Impressive victories against the likes of Liverpool, Manchester United and Aston Villa capped off an ideal end to the season.

However, several first-team squad members have since been linked with potential exits over the summer transfer window.

Michael Olise has completed a move to Bayern Munich, while talks are ongoing over Marc Guehi’s potential switch to Newcastle United.

Beyond those known deals, there also appears to be plenty of interest in centre-back Joachim Andersen this summer.

Fulham make transfer offer for Crystal Palace star Joachim Andersen

With just two years remaining on his Crystal Palace contract, Andersen could face an uncertain future at Selhurst Park.

Not least because of interest from a former club of his, with The Athletic reporting that Fulham are making a move for the Danish international.

The report claims that a £20million offer has been submitted for the 28-year-old, which could see him return to the West London club he was initially on loan at before joining Palace for £15million.

Crystal Palace are believed to be holding out for a fee in the region of £40million to let Andersen leave, with talks claimed to be ongoing between the parties.

It leaves further uncertainty surrounding the backline at Copers Cope, amid Guehi’s potential exit from the club.

Joachim Andersen contract decision

Should Crystal Palace decide to reject any exit for Andersen, there is a clear decision that has to be made over the Dane’s future at the club.

With just two years remaining on his contract, it could be tricky to command a high fee for an exit next year, while security over the backline will be desired if the 28-year-old is part of the plans.

With the increasing importance of Chris Richards last season, along with new signing Chadi Riad and the potential to play Jefferson Lerma at centre-back, there are options should exits be secured.

However, it may leave Dougie Freedman and his staff scrambling for new transfer options, while patience may be required for a squad that could oversee plenty of key losses this summer.
