Crystal Palace won’t have wanted to lose Marc Guehi this summer, but according to the reports, it is looking more and more likely.
Marc Guehi will shortly be back at Copers Cope training, however, there is now a chance he won’t return at all with a move to Newcastle surely advancing.
The Eagles defender had a stellar campaign at Euro 2024 which won’t have helped Oliver Glasner’s chances of being able to keep the 24-year-old.
Already, Crystal Palace have reportedly made a bid to replace Guehi with a prospect for just £4m which would be Dougie Freedman at his best.
Now, it has been reported exactly how Guehi is feeling about moving to St. James’ Park this summer.

What Marc Guehi is thinking about Palace exit
Newcastle are believed to be the only club to make a formal approach to Palace over signing Guehi at the moment, and now it was been reported how the player himself feels about the move.
According to The Telegraph, Guehi is very keen on making the switch to Newcastle this summer.
Further to this, the centre-back is believed to have told his representatives to make the move to Newcastle happen.
The report also adds that Palace would be looking to receive £60m in return for selling Guehi and the deal is considered already to be close.
Losing a player of Guehi’s quality is never ideal, but if the Eagles have to lose a big-money player then Guehi is definitely most replaceable.

Crystal Palace can afford to lose Guehi
While losing Michael Olise was a blow, without Guehi the Eagles would not have to change much. This is because for the majority of Glasner’s time at the club so far, he did not have Guehi anyway.
With a central defensive trio of Chris Richards, Joachim Andersen and Chadi Riad, Palace are more than strong enough to cope with the loss of Guehi – with the funds meaning the Eagles could bring in two others to add depth without having to rely on the likes of Joel Ward.
So Guehi could be out before the season begins, and the Eagles could have another cash influx to bolster the ranks with.
