Crystal Palace could be set for an overhaul in 2025 with multiple key players now being targetted by Europe’s elite.
After losing both Michael Olise and Joachim Andersen in the summer, 2025 could end up seeing more big names depart Selhurst Park.
After winning just one game of 12 this season in the Premier League, relegation is looking like a possibility, which will not improve the Eagles’ chances of keeping the likes of Eberechi Eze.

After Crystal Palace drew 2-2 with Aston Villa, Oliver Glasner’s side dropped down to 19th in the league table.
Due to this atrocious form, Glasner has demanded reinforcements in January. Now it is being reported the Eagles could be offered a talented midfielder in 2025.

Juventus showing interest in Eberechi Eze
One player almost guaranteed to attract multiple big clubs next year is supremely talented forward, Eze.
The Eagles’ No.10 has been far from his best this season but he remains among the Premier League’s most talented.

Now, it has been reported by Italian outlet SpazioJ that Juventus’ interest in Eze could see a swap deal offered.
This follows TuttoJuve’s report that the Eagles star had been attracting the Turin-based side – along with Antonio Conte at Napoli who is seemingly keen to add to his British contingent.
It is claimed that in order to convince Palace, the Bianconeri could offer midfielder Douglas Luiz, as his £42m move from Aston Villa fails to impress.
Luiz has also been linked in conjunction with a move for Manchester United’s Joshua Zirkzee which suggests the club are looking to get rid of him.
But how does he stack up against Glasner’s existing midfield options?
How Douglas Luiz compares to Crystal Palace midfielders
If signed, Luiz would be a welcome upgrade into the midfield which has lacked quality this season.
As seen from Luiz and Adam Wharton’s stats per 90 during the 2023/24 season, Luiz is better in most important metrics – however together they could be an elite duo.
| Stat per 90 via Squawka | Wharton | Luiz |
| Chances Created | 1.4 | 1.6 |
| Passing Accuracy % | 81.14 | 89.36 |
| Crossing Accuracy % | 32 | 26.96 |
| Through-balls | 0.3 | 0.4 |
| Forward Passes | 12.1 | 12.5 |
| Take-on Success % | 60 | 60 |
| Ground Duel Success % | 56.8 | 50.2 |
| Touches | 54.7 | 73.7 |
| Ball Recoveries | 5.3 | 5.6 |
Luiz would be an instant starter for Palace which does make this deal interesting if it came with cash plus the Brazilian midfielder.
Luiz is a great player who Ian Wright has admitted to loving the style of on his podcast Wrighty’s House, but we are not sure that justifies letting Eze go.
