If Oliver Glasner is replaced as Crystal Palace manager, chances are it will be a manager who currently is a free agent.
Nobody wants to see Oliver Glasner sacked by Steve Parish – however unless things turn around quickly, it would be an understandable decision.
The Eagles are being sucked closer and closer toward relegation, currently sitting 18th in the league.

Crystal Palace is five points behind 16th-place Everton and are also the lowest scorers in the entire league, creating further pressure on Glasner.
Now, the under-fire Eagles boss needs points and this weekend presents a tricky visit from Spurs, before taking on fellow relegation candidates Wolves afterwards.

Sergio Conceicao would be an incredible manager for Crystal Palace
Already this week after the 1-0 loss to Nottingham Forest, Crystal Palace have been linked with a number of managers.

Parish is said to rate Graham Potter highly, with the former Chelsea boss likely to bring exciting football to Selhurst Park.
David Moyes has also been linked and is believed to be keen on a move, while he could bring the best out of Eberechi Eze.
But one slightly more left-field option for Parish to consider is former Porto boss Sergio Conceicao who has been unemployed since June after disputes with his bosses.
At Porto, Conceicao established himself as one of the best managers in Portugal and at just 49, he is still tipped to have a superb career in football.
He averaged 2.29 points per game at Porto – slightly higher than his 2.02 per game average over his entire career – a figure which could delight Selhurst Park.
Conceicao has managed 546 games, winning 336 of these and scoring a whopping 1051 goals.
All of this reads well and if translated to the Eagles, it would undoubtedly see him become the most successful manager for the club.
However, he would likely come with some serious demands as to being backed by the club – something Glasner will wish he had asked for in relation to effectively replacing Michael Olise.
How would Crystal Palace play with Conceicao in charge?
If Conceicao was appointed as Crystal Palace manager, it would bring a system change from the way Glasner has had his side playing for eight months now.
Conceicao opts for a four-at-the-back formation, often this comes in the form of a 4-2-3-1 – which he sets up with almost a defence-first mindset.
However, unlike a Roy Hodgson team, this defensive football was coupled with a fatally dangerous attack when in possession – something that could bode well for the Eagles with the likes of Eberechi Eze and Eddie Nketiah capable of excellence.
When playing Arsenal last season, Conceicao and his Porto side won the first leg (not affording the Gunners a single shot) and then in the second leg held on to go to penalties.
His comments after the games and actions on the touchline resembled a young Jose Mourinho and he has a personality which could be transformational for Crystal Palace.
So if Parish is forced into replacing Glasner, hiring Conceicao would be the best possible appointment.
