Manchester United are set to poach one of the biggest talents in the Crystal Palace academy.
Crystal Palace have some immense talents currently in the academy.
Jesse Derry is arguably the top dog for the Eagles, while Hindolo Mustapha is also emerging to be a top talent.
Despite these talents being immense, Crystal Palace have lost one youngster with immense potential and now he has confirmed his exit ahead of joining Manchester United.
Samuel Lusale says goodbye ahead of Manchester United switch
Slovakian youth international Samuel Lusale’s move to United has been on the cards for months, with July 4th being when he was first rumoured to have agreed to the move.
Lusale rejected a scholarship offer from Crystal Palace, with United reaching a full agreement to sign him, which would have been a blow for the club.

Now, Lusale has confirmed his departure from Selhurst Park with an Instagram message to the fans and club.
“My journey with Crystal Palace comes to an end and a new door opens. I will always remember the memories I made at Palace, and without them, I wouldn’t be where I am today. But now, we move on to the next chapter.”
In the comments, Lusale received plenty of well wishes from his Eagles teammates, and also from his new United teammate Chido Obi-Martin – who is awaiting his own move to the Red Devils.
Losing Lusale will be painful for the Eagles, however there is a lesson to be learned by the club.
Crystal Palace must learn from this with Jesse Derry
While it is disappointing to lose Lusale, the situation can be learned from with Derry as he is yet to sign a pre-professional contract with Crystal Palace.
Losing Lusale could therefore be a deterrent and also show Steve Parish that he needs to be handed a contract to ward off interest which is expected to arrive considering how excellent Derry is playing this season.
Derry is one of England’s most exciting talents at an U18 level so it is only a matter of time until he is on the list of the likes of United and Chelsea who are always looking to bring in talented wonderkids.
So if we had one message for the decision-makers at Selhurst Park, it would be to lock down Derry to a professional contract to avoid losing him in a similar manner to Lusale.
