Crystal Palace manager Roy Hodgson is finding himself under increased pressure, and a mid-season exit is now becoming more and more likely.
Palace fans expressed their anger towards him and the club hierarchy in recent games, as his side have now won just one game in their last 12.
Crystal Palace are sleepwalking into a crisis, and there is little hope that Hodgson has it within him to turn their form around, with the 76-year-old criticised for his negative tactics and his lack of faith in young players.
A 5-0 loss to Arsenal at the weekend may have edged him closer to the exit door, and a report has now given a timeframe on how long he may have left at the club.
How many chances does Roy Hodgson have left?
A report from The Express has now claimed that Hodgson will still be in the dugout as Palace take on Sheffield United at Selhurst Park next Tuesday.
However, if his side continue to falter under his management, he may have just two games after that before he is eventually dismissed.
“After the Sheffield game, Palace play Brighton away from home on February 3 before hosting Chelsea on February 12. The south Londoner’s response over the next three games will be crucial in deciding whether Hodgson will remain in his post,” the report stated.
This therefore means that he will be in charge for a heated derby match away at Brighton, and a negative result there could kill any last credit he has in the bank.
Are Crystal Palace wasting their time with Roy Hodgson?

Hodgson is set to step down in the summer window anyway, and Palace have been strongly linked with Steve Cooper, who was recently sacked by Nottingham Forest.
If the intention is to hire him anyway, persisting with Hodgson whilst he is currently unattached, is a complete waste of time. He could spend the rest of this campaign bedding in before the summer window to rebuild the squad.
If Palace are waiting for someone else to become available, their stance may be somewhat more understandable, but patience has run out with the fanbase, and the hierarchy now need to question what benefit three more games with Hodgson would possibly provide.
