Rio Ferdinand has now urged Manchester United to bring in a player like Crystal Palace’s key man amid struggles at Old Trafford.
Crystal Palace boast one of the Premier League’s best and most exciting wingers in Michael Olise.
The brilliant Frenchman is supremely talented and has no doubt got top clubs dreaming of having him at their disposal.
Now, Rio Ferdinand has confirmed that as he suggests the 21-year-old would be ideal at Old Trafford and could get the best out of their struggling forward.

Speaking on his Vibe with Five podcast, Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand explained what he thinks Erik ten Hag’s side need.
In doing so, the retired centre-half mentioned one Crystal Palace star in particular who he thinks would be perfect for United, or failing that who he would love to see a similar player signed.
He began by declaring that United’s number nine Rasmus Hojlund needs service and at United, “We’ve got wingers who either want to get a shot off (rather than cross).”
This is a problem United struggle with as Marcus Rashford, Antony and Alejandro Garnacho all seem to prefer looking to score themselves. An issue which often leaves their forward in no mans land.
Crystal Palace witnessed this first-hand back in October on the Premier League trip to Old Trafford.
Continuing, Ferdinand explained that Hojlund needs a provider before he mentioned Palace’s £100k-a-week star Michael Olise as a player he’d love at United, along with a few others.
“If Man United had Olise, Jack Harrison, McNeil at Everton, Jacob Murphy at Newcastle – any one of those four wingers, I reckon he (Hojlund) would have five or six goals by now,” Ferdinand continued.
“Why? Because they cross the ball. All four of those boys, their first thought is, get the ball, head down. Either beat the full-back and cross, or give me a yard and cross the ball.
“These are guys who provide.”
Olise isn’t going anywhere
Palace will be keen to keep Olise at Selhurst Park for as long as possible, especially after he signed a new deal in August. So Ferdinand can forget about him joining the 20-time league champions.
Although if he is to leave, there will be no doubt a substantial fee and a record sale coming the way of Palace.
