Just like 2024, there is likely to be a transfer overhaul for Crystal Palace in 2025 with several key players likely to depart.
Oliver Glasner’s first full season in charge of Crystal Palace has not been going as planned after a record-breaking conclusion to 2023/24.
The Austrian has led the Eagles to just one win in 11 games so far this season which has resulted in 18th place and Crystal Palace’s relegation chances rising.

The Eagles have been among the worst affected clubs by injuries – and due to this there is plenty of transfer work to do in January and next summer.
But now, reports are suggesting that the Eagles may also need to replace an ever-present star player.
Tyrick Mitchell is a shock target for Galatasaray
Dougie Freedman has enough work to do on this Crystal Palace squad without having to replace some of the best players that Selhurst Park has to offer.
However, now left wing-back Tyrick Mitchell has been linked with a move to Turkey.

According to the Turkish outlet A Spor, there is a genuine interest in Mitchell from Super Lig giants Galatasaray.
Galatasaray are said to be in the market for a left-back in 2025 and has reportedly already begun efforts to sign Mitchell in January.
The Turkish side are looking to enter talks with Crystal Palace and Mitchell’s agent. However, it is currently looking unlikely that the Eagles would sanction a deal.
That being said, where it gets interesting is that Mitchell’s contract expires in 2025 and so Freedman runs the risk of losing him for free.
Crystal Palace revamp in the works
As an isolated event, losing Mitchell would not be all that bad as it would allow a more suited fullback to take his place.
However, losing the 25-year-old would be on top of the several other rumoured exits impending next year.
Eberechi Eze is likely to get his move next summer, with Manchester United among the club’s interest.
Meanwhile, Marc Guehi seems almost certain to leave with the club accepting of that fact to avoid the risk of losing him for free in 2026.
Finally, it also seems likely that Jean-Philippe Mateta will exit as contract talks continue to be halted.
If all of these moves happened at once, it would see arguably the defining figures of the team in the last five years – who remain – ripped out. A real overhaul.
