With that in mind, clear replacements are needed on top of the current summer recruits, with some quality on the agenda.
One star who could provide that is Raheem Sterling, who has been rumoured with a transfer to Crystal Palace this summer.

Manchester United eye Raheem Sterling and Jadon Sancho swap transfer
Manchester United are another team who have joined Crystal Palace in the race to sign Raheem Sterling this summer.
The Red Devils are on the lookout for another forward option before the end of the transfer window and may be able to meet the personal terms required to land the Chelsea star.
According to The Telegraph, Man United have already opened talks with the Blues over a move for Sterling in the final days of the window.
Talks are progressing which could see Jadon Sancho move the other way in a surprise swap deal between the teams.
United are looking to avoid paying an outlay for the winger, while his wages worth over £300,000-per-week could also be partially paid by Chelsea.
It remains to be seen whether Crystal Palace could muscle their way to the front for Sterling, though it may be tough.

So with Manchester United now firmly in the lead to land Sterling this summer, it likely leads to Crystal Palace moving on to other targets.
It would be extremely tough for the Eagles to match the personal terms that the Red Devils could offer, meanwhile, a swap deal isn’t likely to be on the cards to sweeten the deal on Chelsea’s terms either.
With that in mind, Glasner and his recruitment team may have to make a last-minute dash elsewhere in the market.
Palace have always been traditionally clever at picking the next big star and giving them time to grow.
Rather than looking at a player entering the end of their peak on big wages, it may be time to look at other moves.
