Of all the Crystal Palace youngsters on loan this season, Jesurun Rak-Sakyi is arguably the most exciting.

David Ozoh was excellent for Derby earlier this season before picking up an injury. Ozoh has missed months but is expected to return soon.
Two academy goalkeepers have been impressive, with Joe Whitworth shining for Exeter and also Owen Goodman looking impressive for Colchester.
However, the most notable is winger Jesurun Rak-Sakyi.

At Sheffield United, Rak-Sakyi has made nine appearances this season in the Championship – scoring twice and assisting once.
Rak-Sakyi’s performances are impressive beyond these stats though as he is a constant threat when dribbling at his defenders.
After an impressive loan so far, now Rak-Sakyi has gotten himself a call-up to the England U21 squad.
The call-up is much-deserved for the recently turned 22-year-old winger – and it could actually be massively beneficial for his development as a player.

Rak-Sakyi’s development as a player will no doubt benefit from his season of playing regularly in the Championship. This follows on from last season which saw him stuck on the bench and almost stalling in his progress.
But to not only be playing regularly but also have the chance to train with players like Omari Hutchinson and James McAtee will help him develop.
Rak-Sakyi’s end goal from the 2024/25 season as a whole will no doubt be to return to Selhurst Park next summer with the ambition of forcing Glasner to treat him as a key player.
Given how poorly Crystal Palace’s season has started, this could come sooner than expected for Rak-Sakyi with a recall option available to the Eagles.
