January is shaping up to be a busy month at Selhurst Park as Crystal Palace are looking to add options in two positions.
Oliver Glasner has made no secret of his desire to see additions made this winter as Crystal Palace currently wallow in 19th place.
Just one win in 12 is a record which will always mean changes are needed, with several players already linked with a move to Selhurst Park.
| Position | Team | Played MP | Won W | Drawn D | Lost L | For GF | Against GA | Diff GD | Points Pts |
| 19 | 12 | 1 | 5 | 6 | 10 | 17 | -7 | 8 |
Glasner has asked for additions in two specific positions – this being a wing-back and also an attacker.
However, the Eagles and Dougie Freedman could also be required to replace one player who is now reportedly being linked with an exit.

Jean-Philippe Mateta offered to Fenerbahce
As we head toward the January transfer window, one player with an uncertain future is Jean-Philippe Mateta, with the Frenchman still yet to agree to a contract.
Mateta is demanding £90,000-a-week in order to sign a new contract with Crystal Palace. While Mateta was also reportedly annoyed with Glasner earlier this season.

Now, reports in Turkey are suggesting Mateta has now been offered to Fenerbahce.
According to Sabah, Mateta has now been offered to Jose Mourinho’s side in Turkey as a possible January move to replace Edin Dzeko.
Fenerbahce are now evaluating whether or not to proceed with a deal for Mateta – while there is no indication of who has actually offered Fenerbahce the player.
However, it is likely to be the Frenchman’s agents – however, it would not be a shock considering strikers have been linked with the Eagles ahead of January.
Could Crystal Palace sell Mateta in January?
With a number of forwards linked with moving to Selhurst Park, such as Atletico Madrid’s Angel Correa and also Mathys Tel from Bayern Munich.
Oumar Diakite of Reims has also been linked with Mateta attracting plenty of interest, it certainly looks as though Palace are gearing up to replace Mateta.
However, after Mateta had stopped kicking the corner flag in celebration it was claimed this was to do with his contract. Mateta did kick the flag against Spurs, which makes us believe things might be going in the correct direction.
Chances are Mateta will leave in 2025, however, whether this is a January move to Turkey remains to be seen.
