2024 has seen Crystal Palace sell a handful of key players and right now, 2025 looks likely to follow a similar path.
Dougie Freedman brought seven new faces to Selhurst Park during the summer and yet few have looked the part so far – amid a concerning run of form by Crystal Palace.
Oliver Glasner will be very concerned as he is watching his Eagles tumble down the Premier League table, currently sitting in a lowly 18th place, a finish which would only be good enough for relegation.

With so many players underperforming and the system not quite clicking, it has been a disaster all around so far – although it can absolutely be fixed with Glasner now attempting to do so.
Now, it seems a summer addition could already have an exit on the cards as European giants AC Milan begin to circle.
Ismaila Sarr now wanted by AC Milan
Of the seven players the Eagles signed over the summer, only Maxence Lacroix has truly been impressive so far – while Ismaila Sarr has also been a strong performer, only lacking game-time.
Now, there are reports in Italy which are seeming to point toward the possible exit of the Senegal winger from Selhurst Park.
This is according to La Gazzetta dello Sport at least, who claim that Sarr has found himself to be one of AC Milan’s options to strengthen the attack, with Zlatan Ibrahimovic looking for budget options given he is now ‘the boss’ at the famous Italian side.
The Italian outlet writes that Sarr is not untouchable at Selhurst Park – citing his one start in seven as a reason for this.
It is also claimed that he would be available for a fee of just £12.5m – the exact figure he cost the Eagles over the summer. For this reason, Sarr is seen as the sustainable option for Milan.
Selling to Milan would be an annoying decision from the Eagles, with Sarr showing real potential despite hardly playing.

Crystal Palace could lose several in 2025
Sarr never quite got going since making his move, with Glasner affording him minimal game-time despite some impressive displays – with his standout stats very encouraging.

That being said, Sarr won’t be the only name potentially leaving in 2025 as several others have been linked away this week.
This is after Marc Guehi has been linked with an exit, as the Eagles are said to be resigned to the fact he may leave over the next two transfer windows.
Jean-Philippe Mateta is another possibly off, with reports suggesting he is expected to be next out the door.
Finally, Jefferson Lerma has reportedly caught the interest of Galatasaray – something that would be a serious loss for Crystal Palace.
