Crystal Palace are said to be leading two other English sides in the race to sign Bright Osayi-Samuel from Fenerbahce.
In January – Crystal Palace are expected to be busy with several positions now looking likely to be strengthened.
The attack is a position where Palace are keen to strengthen with players being linked for both the striker and wing positions.
Borja Mayoral is a striker who’s been tipped as a target up front while keen thinking suggests Eddie Nketiah could be a target too.
Meanwhile on the wing, Roony Bardghji has previously been linked and is now available. While Matias Soule is also an option with Palace ‘ready’ to submit an offer.
Defensively – options are also being considered with Trevoh Chalobah thought to be a serious option for The Eagles. Meanwhile a right back is also being looked at with Flamengo’s Wesley Franca topping the shortlist.
That is until a recent report has suggested another could be on the cards.
Bright Osayi-Samuel to Crystal Palace
According to TeamTalk, Crystal Palace are now leading the race to secure the 25-year-old’s signature.
The former QPR right-back is also attracting interest from Premier League rivals Wolves and Championship playoff front runners Leeds United.
Palace’s need for a right sided full back has only multiplied in recent weeks with Joel Ward now out injured.
The defender has made 12 appearances in the Süper Lig this season – in which he’s based two goals and assisted a goal.

The interest in Osayi-Samuel comes at an interesting time – with the injury of Ward coupled with the defender caught in a prolonged spell of poor form.
Palace have a serious weakness at right back – one which needs to be plugged and Osayi-Samuel could absolutely fill.
The defender is a regular for Fenerbahce and would likely welcome a return to England and the Premier League.
