Crystal Palace are poised to lose Marc Guehi in 2026. But the Eagles could yet swap him for a player they already have their eye on.
Next year will be a big one for Crystal Palace. Owner Steve Parish has a lot of valuable assets in the side and 2026 could be the year he’s forced to cash in on quite a few of them.
Names like Daniel Munoz and Adam Wharton are attracting transfer interest ahead of 2026 with summer moves possible for both, as January exits have already been played down.
Marc Guehi meanwhile has been tipped to stay until next summer where he’s set to leave as a free agent, after missing out on a deadline day to Liverpool last month.
Bayern Munich are now showing a strong interest in Guehi who appears to have no end of suitors across Europe. Now, another has emerged in Italy’s Serie A.

Inter take interest in Marc Guehi at Crystal Palace
A recent report from TBR Football revealed how Inter Milan are among the teams now keeping tabs on Guehi, who is also counting the likes of PSG, Atletico Madrid and Juventus among his newer suitors ahead of next year.
Interestingly, just last week there were reports that Yann Bisseck at Inter Milan is keen to leave the club and is open to joining Crystal Palace, who tried to sign the German international during the summer transfer window, having a £30million bid knocked back.
What’s more is that Inter are now willing to accept a cut-price fee of £22million for Bisseck. No concrete price tag has been mentioned for Guehi amid a possible January transfer exit, but there’s every chance that Parish could consider a swap deal for Bisseck and Guehi in a bid to not only sign Bisseck, but to avoid losing Guehi for free next summer.
Of course, though, Guehi would need to be open to joining Inter in January for this to happen. He’s already said he’s in no rush to leave and links to the likes of Madrid and Barca might be more appealing.

Crystal Palace have identified another Marc Guehi replacement
Expect Oliver Glasner and his recruitment team to have a long list of players they could sign to replace Guehi: Bisseck is surely one, and another is Charlie Cresswell at Toulouse.
We Are Palace recently revealed that Cresswell is a transfer target for Crystal Palace having shone in Ligue 1 following his move from Leeds United in 2024, making 31 league appearances last season and even having links to Liverpool in the summer.
Cresswell was also named in the U21 Euros Team of the Tournament after helping the Young Lions win the competition for a second time.
But Inter’s interest in Guehi could prompt Crystal Palace to place some more focus on a potential deal for Bisseck, using Guehi as a bargaining chip in the potential deal.
